Job Description / description de l'emploi

The Royal Club Attendant takes on the role of brand ambassador, delivering an unparalleled level of service to all guests, clients, and VIPs of the Royal Club Lounge. This position will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for each guests and taking ownership of the entire Royal Club Lounge experience from beginning to end. Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks to the highest standards.

Qualifications / qualifications

  • Must be able to work all shifts including mornings, evenings, & weekends, flexibility to work shifts as required
  • Must have intermediate level proficiency with computers including the use of Microsoft office (Excel)
  • Must have previous experience working with PMS system (Opera, Micros)
  • Ability to work under high demand /volume situations, maintaining professionalism at all times
  • Must have superior guest service skills
  • Strong command of the English language-both written and verbal
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • A min experience of 1 year with Food and Beverage Service in a fast pace environment.
  • Must have Smart Serve certification
  • Must have Food Handler’s certification

Responsibilities / responsabilités

  • Set up morning continental breakfast buffet and late afternoon hors d’oeurves
  • Ensure food station and table set-ups are complete
  • Stock, maintain and clean designated food stations
  • Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to designated area and operate dishwashing equipment
  • Assist guest with any food and beverage requests including familiarity with creating cocktails and alcoholic beverages
  • Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water,
  • Maintain cleanliness of club lounge
  • Maintain and perform inventory audits on all food and beverage items, including but not limited to, alcohol beverages.
  • Liaise with Concierge and Front Office to respond with to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Ability to service up to 40-50 guests at one time, ensuring that a superior level of service is maintained.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management
