    The Director of Content will be responsible for creating the strategy and producing the content for the brand’s social channels, in addition to analyzing the content’s performance and optimizing the results. This role will travel to a variety of Omni’s properties to capture photos/videos, then edit them into compelling content. This person also will monitor online conversations and proactively engage in them.

    Qualifications / qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, New Media or related field
    • 10 plus years of related work experience
    • Strong in creating social content; concepting, producing and executing social photo/video shoots; editing video; monitor online conversations; performing well under pressure and being a team player
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects
    • Demonstrated ability to delegate and accurately judge and edit the work of others
    • Travel, hospitality or luxury experience preferable

    Responsibilities / responsabilités

    • Work with internal teams including Marketing, Communications, Content, Operations, HR, Sales, etc. to plan and execute social media plans
    • Oversee the Content Strategy for the brand and use audience insights to determine the brand voice, tone and social content mix
    • Create editorial calendars for strategic, consistent posting across all channels
    • Oversee the influencer programs and paid social media plan to increase reach and brand awareness
    • Monitor online conversations and respond to user comments and questions in a timely manner. Proactively engage in conversations
    • Collaborate with agency to analyze channel and content performance in order to optimize future efforts.
    • Consistently produce high quality internal and external social and video content
    • Travel to various properties on a regular basis to create content
    • Contribute to the brand blog on a monthly basis
    • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in capturing photos/videos and editing into compelling social content
    • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline adherence
    • Attend team/agency/property meetings as needed
    • Plan and participate in brainstorming events to generate ideas for the brand and individual properties as needed
    • Support Director of Marketing as needed basis
